Cherry Guidry of Benartex

Cherry is a self-taught design artist who is addicted to textiles, vibrant color, and texture, a fabric designer for Benartex, with several embroidery collections for OESD, an author with C&T, and a full line of self-published patterns, she truly believes is living the life she was meant to live! Her style is transitional-modern, colorful, and whimsical, and is known for her fun-loving and encouraging classes. While raising her two sons, she learned and taught art classes at a local craft store, but started quilting in 2004 and now she just can’t stop! She lives in Baton Rouge, LA with her husband Roger and miniature schnauzer, Emmie. Her sons have left the nest, leaving more room for quilting! She is happy to be here to share her passion for quilting.
