Jojo Quilt - a Stripology Mixology Quilt
Class date:
April 23rd and 30th
9am-12PM
Join us to make the Jojo quilt from Stripology Mixology 2. This fun quilt is made from 10-inch layer cakes. There are lots of creative ways to make this your quilt. For this class, it is recommended to make either a Crib or Lap Size. The class sample increased the Lap Size Quilt to 68”x68” by using 64 squares. The floating 3” squares in the block may be cut from the layer cake may be used to assemble blocks or you may choose to cut another color(s) for the 3” blocks in the blocks. Additional fabric will be need if you choose to use different colors. This quilt works great with low volume fabrics with a contrasting 3” square in the block.Students will learn to use the stripology ruler and squaring up the quilt blocks with a custom template. This quilt goes together quickly. A layer cake is great for this project, or you may cut your own 10-inch squares. A layer cake usually has 42 squares in the package.
