We will create an 11.5" x 11.5" quilted calendar suitable to hang on a Meandering Quilt Stand. (Sold in shop)


Fat quarter or 3/8 yard for each square quilt border, hanging sleeve and backing.

Fat quarter or 1/3 yard for each square quilt background block.

Fat eighth or scraps assorted fabrics for the applique designs.

1/2 yard green fabric for all the number quilts, borders, backing and hanging sleeves.

1/2 yard dark green fabric for the number appliques.

Lightweight batting or fleece.

Fusible web.

One #89487 Meandering Tri-stand or one #89727 Meandering single stand.

***If you just want to display the square quilt without the numbers, use the Meandering Single Stand***

We will be using the raw edge applique method to complete each calendar block.

Bring your sewing machine and sewing kits to include seam rippers, rotary cutters, assorted threads to match fabrics.

Instructor: Lynda Bruce
Instructor Bio: Lynda's positive attitude and enthusiasm enhances the classes she teaches at A Quilter's Corner. Lynda has over 40+ years of quilting experiences; has a passion for learning new techniques and loves passing this knowledge on to her students. Lynda strives to give her students a great experience in a relaxing atmosphere. Lynda is also a certified Laura Heine Collage teacher. Lynda is married to her husband Robert for 44 years; they have one son and daughter-in-law who live in California. Lynda is a retired nurse of 31 years and they have an 11-year-old long-haired tuxedo cat Sparkie.
