This class is for owners of the Brother Luminaire, Dream Machine, and Stellaire and will teach you about the advanced features of your machine.

The topics that will be covered include: How to Use “My Design Center”, Scanning Frame or IPOD transfer, Learn to Make Your Own Embroidery Designs, Advanced Sewing Features, Built in Help, Updating Machine, Combining Patterns, Editing Patterns, Color Shuffling, Instant Applique, Stippling, Echo Quilting, Border Function, Connecting Patterns, Quilt Sashing

For this class, you will need to bring the following:
Embroidery Machine, power cord, manual, accessories
Make sure you have attached your Embroidery Foot on Machine before class
Hoops (one small or medium size)
Scaning Frame or IPOD*
Multiple Embroidery Threads
Embroidery Bobbin Prewound
Embroidery Bobbin Case
Embroidery Scissors
USB thumb drive
Small Scissor
Seam Ripper

Instructor: Jill Perry
Instructor Bio: Jill Perry has worked at A Quilter?s Corner since the store?s opening in August 2016. Jill began her teaching career as a serger instructor in Boulder CO and taught for over 12 years. Those classes included learning your serger, computerized sewing machines, quilting, sewing tools, clothing construction, and swimwear. Jill made most of her children?s clothing and continued with costume design for ballet recitals, Halloween and CosPlay costumes, and lots of outdoor camping projects. Jill has degrees in business management, graphic design, web design, and information and learning technologies. Obviously, Jill is a techie and loves learning, sharing what she knows with others, and learning something new from our customers. Jill loves incorporating computer technology with sewing and quilting and looks forward to teaching more classes in digital embroidery, machine quilting design, and computerized longarm quilting with the HandiQuilter ProStitcher.
